We are encouraging customers and stakeholders across Skye, Lewis and Harris to have their say on the planned replacement of the 33 kilovolt (kV) subsea cable which faulted on 16 October.

Since our announcement in December, which followed extensive consideration and stakeholder engagement, our Submarine Cables team has been developing a programme to replace the 33kV cable which runs from Ardmore, Skye to Beacravik, Harris.

As part of that development, the project team is looking to engage with local customers, communities and stakeholders to seek their views as they finalise the details and prepare the necessary applications process.
A representative from our RIIO-ED2 team will also be present to capture views on our 2023 to 2028 investment programme.

A series of four hourly online consultation events are being planned for the following date:
